A brand guidelines book for Faméa, a contemporary clothing label built around movement. A single-stroke mark, a disciplined monochrome palette and Inter throughout, carried from the logo lockups to business cards, hang tags and labels.
A brand guidelines book for Faméa, Edition No. 01, a contemporary ready-to-wear label. The brand is designed for the moment before applause: the turn of a shoulder, the intake of breath, fabric catching light mid-stride. The book exists to protect that moment, so every surface carries the same quiet confidence as the clothes.
Clothing is rarely seen at rest; it is seen arriving, turning, reaching, leaving. Every seam, drape and silhouette is considered in motion first, stillness second.
The mission is to design clothing that moves the way confidence does, without asking permission. Four principles keep that promise honest.
The name draws from fame: not the noise of it, but the lift, the sense of rising just before recognition arrives. The mark echoes the idea as a single continuous stroke, weighted at the front and trailing at the back, like fabric caught mid-turn.
It is built to hold its shape at speed, on a swing tag, a storefront or a phone screen. The lockup is drawn once and never redrawn, stretched, rotated, tinted or given a shadow.
Faméa runs on black, white and three measured greys. Restraint in colour keeps focus on cut, texture and typography, the things that actually define the brand.
Inter is the sole typeface across every application, clean, geometric and legible from a swing tag to a storefront sign. Five weights, Light 300 to Bold 700, cover every need.
The voice is confident without boasting and fluid without vagueness. Short sentences carry more weight than long ones; every line should sound like it was said once, plainly, and meant.
Eight cues keep the photography consistent: directional light with long shadows, blur at the hem and sharp at the face, the subject filling a third of the frame, architectural lines, close crops on weave and seam, editorial black-and-white contrast, silhouette first, and studio minimalism with no props.
Business cards are printed on uncoated 600gsm stock, with the mark foil-blocked on black cards or blind-embossed on white, never printed flat. Hang tags use 100% recycled board with a single central hole and a cotton loop closure; woven labels are damask, sewn into the interior side seam only.
